Battery Safety

Always purchase environment-friendly disposable batteries. If possible, purchase button cell batteries with zinc air, or button cell batteries with silver oxide or alkaline.

Batteries are toxic and should always be kept away from children. See a doctor immediately if a battery is swallowed. For recommended treatment, call the National Battery Hotline at (202) 625-3333.
